Babcock Gristmill Grinder

Half - Marathon Trail Race and 3 Mile Fun Walk

CompetitorSee the 2009 Race Article and Results Here

The Babcock Gristmill Grinder is a truly spectacular trail course through the rugged terrain of Babcock State Park. This event will challenge you with single track trails, roots, rocks, mud, and occasional short road sections. Then it will reward you with spectacular overlooks, lush green moss and ferns, rhododendron tunnels, waterfalls and more. Most of the climbs are short and steep, followed by long and gradual downhill sections. The last few miles will take you along the old Sewell road beside beautiful Glade Creek, and up to and past the famous Gristmill and then around Boley Lake.

This event has grown every year! If you have never done this course you owe it to yourself to check it out! For articles about previous races and photos go to Prev. Races or read about last years awesome race Here
